Daybreak Kids includes any child from newborns through the 5th grade. We have different programs for every age.
Emily Schwartz is Daybreak's Director of Children's Ministries. She has a passion for our children and loves teaching them about God.
We have 2 nurseries during morning worship and the Bible Fellowship hour on Sundays. An infant nursey upstairs and a 2-3 nursery downstairs. We have a personal paging system that insures that, if a problem arises, you can be reached by our nursery staff immediately.
There are three different Bible Fellowship classes for our children. Dorothy Martin leads the 4-K class. Lisa Lavens teaches a class for children 1st through 2nd grade. Les Karenbauer leads a class for 3rd-5th graders.
We believe that children are a part of God’s family and should have the opportunity to be in worship during some of the Sunday morning worship hour. Children ages four through 5th grade then head to Children’s Worship during the sermon.
Wednesday night is a family night. The prepared dinner begins at 6:15, and our studies start at 7 p.m. Singing, crafts, games, and Bible stories are usually on the menu for children on Wednesdays.
Once a month, kids kindergarten through 5th grade meet for kids group. It's a fun time of bowling, swimming, miniature golf, or a number of other possibilities.
